Just WeedsLand & Weed Care
How we do it

Worked out by hand, root and all

Our method is slow, deliberate and built to last. Here is exactly what happens from the moment you get in touch to the moment we drive away.

The method

Picking and pulling, explained

Pulling a weed is easy. Removing it so it does not return is a craft.

We start by reading the bed — identifying what should stay and what should go, so nothing valuable gets pulled by mistake.

For shallow-rooted weeds we lift them clean by hand. For taproots and bulbs we loosen the soil first with a fork, then ease the whole root out rather than snapping the stem.

For creeping weeds like ivy we trace the runners back to their source and remove the crown, so the plant cannot simply regrow from a fragment left behind.

Every weed goes into a sack as we go, keeping the working area clean and making sure nothing is shaken back into the soil.

  5. 05

    Waste removed

Green waste is loaded and taken away, and we leave the site raked and tidy.

  6. 06

    Final walk-through

We walk the job with you, make sure you are happy and take payment on completion.

Green waste

Where your weeds end up

We do not leave piles of green waste behind. Everything we pull is bagged, loaded and taken with us.

  • Sorted on site. We keep green waste separate from any general rubbish so each stream is dealt with properly.
  • Responsible disposal. Green waste goes to a licensed facility where it is mulched and composted rather than sent to landfill.
  • Reused where we can. Clean mulch from local processing can come back to your garden as bed cover on request.
  • No mess left behind. Beds are raked, paths swept and your bins are not filled with our work.
